An Easy Serving of Veggies

Oatmeal + Mashed Butternut Squash (leftover from father in law's garden!) + (raisins, brown sugar, wheat germ, walnuts...the list goes on) =  A delicious breakfast with a serving of veggies!

Oh, go on! Try it!


  1. Can't say it sounds super appetizing, but I would definitely try it. ;]

  2. I know, I know. My husband looked at me like I was crazy, but it's not bad at all. It's pretty darn good, especially if you add a bit of maple syrup/raisins/nuts. But usually after I remind him that food is fuel/natural 'medicine', he feels better about eating it. And so do I, because obviously I'd prefer the taste of a waffle loaded with whipped cream. :)
